photo retouching thoughts

Photo retouching makes some people (mostly the female populatin) think they are fat and ugly, just because the ones in the magazines and movies are flawless, but they don’t relies that it is all fabricated. It’s all retouched in Photoshop to make it better to look at (to some people).
This causes some people to find ways to get their bodies to look like ‘there’s’. They start adapting to eating disorders and some even starve themselves. Some may get to how the FAKE picture was, but they still continue to hurt them self.
Photo retouching also causes people to adapt to the way the fake people look and then criticize how real people look. They get so used to how the fake people look they don’t want to see anything else. Photo retouching has made life harder for sooo many people to live through their everyday lives. It started with actors and actresses. They made the bar of looking good higher than their own appearance.
Adverts are Photoshoped to make the advertisements more appealing to the eye, so more people will buy them thinking if they use the product they will look like the girl or guy on the photo.
“Even I don’t look like Cindy Crawford in the morning.”

got a picture of my face

I healed some spots I didn’t want there anymore with the healing brush on Photoshop

I added a plain colored background (black)

I added some color to my background (some squiggly lines and dots : ] )

Then came up with my final background (its fab)

Then I created a background and head shot, so I could cut out the left and right parts of my face. By doing that I was then able to create my puzzle pieces.

I created my puzzle pieces by using the lasso tool and cutting out pieces and changing the colors so I can make a difference in all of them.

I then found pictures that describe me in different ways.

Finally I pasted the pictures into the different puzzle pieces and then I blurred my picture a bit to give it a bit of funkiness. : D
